What this launch version asks for
Nothing personal. We do not ask children for a name, age, birthday, email address, phone number, home address, school, photograph, account, or free-text message.
Interactive features
Question buttons and the kindness checklist operate in the browser. Their selections are not sent to us, saved to an account, or used to build a profile.
Google Analytics is off by default
The child-facing site does not load Google Analytics or send data to Google by default. The full site works without analytics. A grown-up can deliberately enable limited audience measurement from the grown-up privacy choices.
If a grown-up enables it, Google Analytics may set first-party analytics cookies with a randomly generated identifier and process the page visited, general browser and device information, referrer, approximate location, and limited interaction events. We use this only for site operations, statistical reporting, debugging, and improvement—not to contact a person, build a child profile, or target advertising.
Analytics event and user data retention is limited to two months and identifiers are not extended when someone returns. Advertising storage, advertising user data, ad personalization, remarketing, Google Signals, user-provided data, and granular location collection remain disabled. Ads data is redacted and restricted to non-personalized processing. Turning analytics off removes this site's Google Analytics cookies where the browser permits and reloads the page if Google has loaded, so its scripts are no longer active.
Basic technical information
Our hosting and security provider, Cloudflare, may process connection information such as an IP address, browser type, requested page, and security events to deliver the site, prevent abuse, and keep it reliable. Cloudflare may set an essential security cookie. We do not use this information to create child profiles or target advertising.
The site saves only one local browser preference for the analytics choice. That preference stays on the device and is not sent to us.
Who receives information
Cloudflare processes technical connection and security data as our hosting provider. Google receives analytics data only after the grown-up control is enabled. We do not sell personal information, share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, or allow social media plug-ins, third-party video players, or ad networks on the child-facing pages.
Retention and deletion
We keep no child account, message, profile, or submission database. Google Analytics retention is set to two months when analytics is enabled. Cloudflare retains security and delivery data under its own service settings and policies. Parents may turn analytics off at any time from the grown-up page and may ask about deletion once the privacy contact listed below is active.
Future features
Letters, email delivery, child-facing donations, accounts, or open-ended chat will remain disabled unless a parent-controlled flow, appropriate notices, security review, and any required consent are in place. This page will be updated before those practices change.
For parents
If you believe personal information has been submitted or exposed, stop using the affected feature. No such submission feature is enabled in this release.
Operator contact details are being finalized before any feature that collects personal information is introduced. Until then, this site does not offer child accounts, messages, uploads, letters, subscriptions, location entry, or other personal-information collection features.
